Hair: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical tells the story of a group of politically active, long-haired hippies of the “Age of Aquarius” living a bohemian life in New York City and fighting against conscription into the Vietnam War.
Opening at the Biltmore Theatre in April of 1968, this is the fiftieth anniversary of the Broadway production of Hair, and the themes of social activism, human rights, freedom of religion, race and gender equality could not be more relevant.*
