Acclaimed pianist Lara Downes (CD: America Again, Exile’s Cafe) will present a program of Bernstein’s “Anniversaries for Piano” along with 20 newly commissioned Anniversaries on the occasion of the composer Leonard Bernstein’s Centennial. Downes will be accompanied by Bernstein’s son Alexander who will provide narration to the works.
