Faculty Jazz Sextet Plays “West Side Story”

As a part of UNCG’s yearlong celebration of the centennial of Leonard Bernstein, the Faculty Jazz Sextet of the Miles Davis Jazz Studies Program brings a program of Bernstein’s West Side Story to The Crown. Arranged by and for the group, expect to hear clever re-imaginings of classic songs like “Maria”, “Tonight”, “Jet Song”, and of course, “Somewhere”. Come join us and meet new professor of jazz trumpet, Dr. Thomas Heflin.
