In celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month (Sep 15-Oct 15), the Weatherspoon will showcase objects from its collection by modern and contemporary artists hailing from the diverse Latin American cultures of Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Guatemala, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Uruguay. The exhibition will focus on both figurative traditions and innovative explorations of abstraction, with surreal motifs and conceptual considerations rounding out the overview. More
