The Music Education Area also offers a second degree to receive initial teacher licensure in music education. This program is ideal for people who have already earned a Bachelor’s degree in music that did not include a teaching license who wish to pursue a career teaching music. A specific plan of study is developed for each student based on his or her educational needs and goals. Students receive advising and mentoring support throughout this teacher preparation program.
