The certificate program in Music Theory Pedagogy is open to students in the DMA and PhD programs in the School of Music. Students will normally apply for admission at the beginning of their first semester of doctoral study. If they do not apply then, they must apply no later than the beginning of their second semester of study. A doctoral student who is denied admission to the program may reapply once at the beginning of the following Fall or Spring semester. The Coordinator for Music Theory will direct and administer the program.
