Anyone with an undergraduate degree in Music may elect a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Music Education (12 hours). The Certificate provides post-baccalaureate students and/or professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to apply principles of music education to a variety of musical careers.

Please note: The Post-Baccalaureate Certificate DOES NOT lead to receiving an initial teaching license. If you are interested in receiving your initial licensure after completing a bachelor’s degree program in music that did not include licensure, please see our Second-Degree in Music Education page.
