August 12th – Located at Greensboro Project Space
A preview of the work in progress by the MFA Performance students in the UNCG Summer Theatre Project. They had been working on the devising and developing of an installation entitled THE EMPATHY PROJECT, spending several weeks researching, discussing, conducting interviews, and writing material based on the notion of radical empathy and what that concept means in today’s world. Non-traditional in nature, the MFA students crafted an “installation” type event that allows the audience to move freely about the space. This work will continue throughout the academic year.
