Justin Tornow is an NC native, and lives in Durham, NC. In 2010, she received an MFA in Choreography from UNC-Greensboro, then lived and worked in NYC until moving to Durham, NC in June 2013. Justin is the artistic director of COMPANY, a producer of the local artist series PROMPTS, and a co-founder and organizer with Durham Independent Dance Artists (DIDA.) Justin has presented her work often in North Carolina, Philadelphia, and NYC since 2003. In addition to her work with COMPANY and DIDA, Justin is a member of the Black Box Dance Theater company in Raleigh, NC and serves as Board President for the North Carolina Dance Alliance.
