Cassandra Hanson is the Ensembles Manager and Assistant to the Director of Outreach Programs in the UNCG School of Music. Originally from Blacksburg, VA, she holds a BA in Clarinet Performance from Virginia Tech and an MM in Clarinet Performance from the University of South Carolina. Her primary teachers include Joseph Eller, Dr. Phillip O. Paglialonga, and Dr. Jonathan Caldwell. She has performed with wind ensembles and orchestras at Virginia Tech and the University of South Carolina, as well as several regional orchestras in the Carolinas. Cassie loves studying and performing new music and is a frequent collaborator with composers Michael Mills and Graeme Rosner. She currently resides in Durham, NC with her husband, Ethan.
