SUMMARY:Jazz Ensemble II: Back to Basics!
DESCRIPTION:Jazz Ensemble II is ready to swing! Join us for an evening of hard-swinging jazz featuring music by some of America’s most celebrated composers\, arrangers\, and bandleaders. From energetic big band classics to groove-filled favorites\, this concert showcases the talent and artistry of UNCG’s emerging jazz musicians. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Miles Davis Jazz Studies Program at UNCG is a unique and innovative undergraduate jazz program designed to emulate the traditional process of learning jazz\, through a combination of mentorship\, real-world playing experiences\, and a communal approach to learning.
