Frame/Works: Antigone

Frame/Works is a program designed to draw connections between scholarly examination and artistic practice. Scholars aee invited to present their research on a play, playwright, historical moment, genre or style in a pre-show lecture prior to a performance. Following the performance, they are invited to share their responses to the production along with selected members of the cast and creative team. Attendees and audience members are enthusiastically encouraged to join in the discussions. Together, we "frame" a "work" of theatrical art.

There is a special ticket price of $12 to attend the production (http://theatre.uncg.edu or 336-334-4392) and pre and post show discussions/forums are complimentary and seating is provided on a first come/first serve basis.

Our guests for ANTIGONE are:

Dr. Jen Feather (Women and Gender Studies and English, UNCG)

Dr. Derek Keyser (Classical Studies, UNCG)

5:30-6:30 pm Pre Show presentation in Brown Building Theatre

7:30 pm Performance in Taylor Theatre
