The RCSQ takes its name from the area’s luscious red soil. The Quartet presents a varied repertoire\, featuring music by composers such as Chen Yi\, Ben Johnston\, James Paul Sain\, György Ligeti\, Guillermo Lago\, Francis Poulenc\, Alejandro Rutty\, Steve Reich\, Mark Engebretson\, David Maslanka\, Martin Bresnick\, Burton Beerman\, and Gavin Bryars. \n\n\n\nAudience Note\nTickets are required to attend any concert or recital in person. Patrons must sit in their assigned seat. Face coverings that cover the nose and mouth are strongly encouraged\, but not required\, while inside the performance hall.

Antígona Pérez is a political prisoner awaiting execution while held captive in the palace of dictator Creón Molina. She refuses to disclose the location of the bodies of her comrades who attempted to assassinate Creón. As a result\, she is confined to a dungeon. During her stay\, visitors come to question her and test her values.
