Virginia Freeman Dupont, MFA, will teach Contemporary dance technique during the fall, 2011 semester at UNCG. She is a North Carolina-based performer, choreographer, and teacher. Virginia's degrees include BFA and MFA degrees in Dance Performance and Choreography from UNCG. She has performed with the companies of John Gamble and Jan Van Dyke since 1995. Virginia serves as the Ballet Mistress and Ballet Program Director for Burlington Academy of Dance & Arts; Artistic Director of the non-profit youth dance company, KARIZMA; and has taught 200 & 300-level Ballet & Modern Dance courses as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Elon University.
