Welcome to the collaborative piano program of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. We offer an opportunity for a complete professional development experience at both the MM and DMA levels for pianists who are interested in specializing in the art of collaborative piano. As a part of the second largest collegiate Music Program in the Southeast region, we offer a broad and varied scope of accompanying opportunities, covering both vocal and instrumental genres. The program is also small enough to be able to provide a more personal level of attention and focus while developing the critical skills for career advancement. In addition, Greensboro and the larger Triad region provide a remarkably rich environment for accompanying opportunities.

The faculty consists of two nationally and internationally known pianists who are also passionately dedicated to teaching. Currently active as performers and clinicians, they bring an informed and vibrant perspective to the developing collaborative pianist. Typically, opportunities exist to provide exposure to both faculty members at various points during the degree. Click the following links to learn more about Dr. Douglass and Dr. Zandmane.
