During that time she reconnected with Drew Barker (also an 04' alum) and they were married on New Year's Eve 2009. In 2011, Drew and she moved to southern Maryland and I began graduate school at University of Maryland. She was able to continue designing in Washington, DC while in school. In her final year at UMD, she co-authored Elizabethan Costume: Design and Construction with her professor, Helen Huang. She graduated in 2014 and has been working as a freelance costume designer in DC ever since.
